Dear VanGold Mining Shareholders, As we bid farewell to 2020 - by any measure a tough year for us all - we can look at our accomplishments at VanGold Mining with a sense of pride. In March, with the world capital markets swooning due to the unknowns of a new virus and the outlook for a global pandemic, shares of VanGold Mining were reinstated for trading after a 14-month halt. After trading as low as three cents per share, the stock began a long and steady climb - touching 34 cents - before consolidating to the mid-20's as the Holiday Season nears. That long and steady climb of the price of our shares is reflective of an enormous amount of effort - and success - enjoyed by the company this year. A brief précis of our accomplishments would highlight the 1,000 tonne bulk sample sent to Endeavour Silver's nearby mill in June. Our channel sampling success finding an average of 537 gpt AgEq over 55 meters of vertical extent in vein material near the El Pinguico shaft; and more channel sampling success along adit Level 4 with high values of 1136 gpt AgEq - really extraordinary stuff! And as the year closes we have the exciting news of finally reaching adit Level 7. In my heart I know that this access will prove to be very important to VanGold in the months ahead - and perhaps very soon indeed as we sample the vein exposures at that Level! Corporately we have hit many milestones: an agreement to repurchase royalties on the El Pinguico property; and decision to purchase our own diamond drill (rarely done by junior companies and just something else that sets VanGold apart from its peers) are two that stand out. The company started the year in a precarious financial position, but with long term shareholders encouraged to help with the company's warrant acceleration efforts; and help from many friends and supporters with the company's summer private placement, even with all of the investments the company has made on the ground at El Pinguico, we will leave 2020 with nearly $4.0m dollars in the treasury. Finally, it is the team at VanGold that is our biggest strength, and what clearly has developed most in 2020. In 2019, it was our Board of Directors that took shape with Richard Silas, Daniel Oliver, and Bill Gehlen joining myself and Hernan Dorado in our belief in this project. In 2020, the team on the ground has taken shape, with Country Manager Gerardo Dorado hiring our new Project Geologist Gabriela Ponce, and new Safety and Security Manager Antonio Neto - among others. So as we bid adieu (or perhaps Good Riddance!) to 2020, we can look forward to more advances in 2021 - underground drilling; accessing deeper and richer parts of the mine, and drilling for the Veta Madre are just the beginning of the many plans to make our company continually better, and continually more successful. On behalf of all VanGold Mining staff, may you have a happy and safe holiday season. James Anderson VanGold Mining Corp. CEO | | | The VanGold Story: Episode 3 - Reaching Adit Level 7 | | | |
